Dear Steve Jobs,

The newest version of iMovie is a piece of fucking SHIT.

Whoever wrote it should be FIRED.

It takes me 17 years to do ANYTHING I could do in the older version. You’ve totally fucked over a piece of previously functional software.

    Fortunately Apple realizes that it is total shit too, because they have a download of the older version on their Support site for those who want to go back to using it (and who wouldn’t?).

  6. So, you don’t like it. I’m not sure from this. You really need to learn to let your feelings out. It’s not healthy to keep it bottled up.

  7. Yeah, I actually use both versions. After installing 08, I totally just installed the previous version.

    But the new version does have some things that are easy. unfortunately if you’re familiar with 07, it don’t mean jack.

    BEE-bzzt, I certainly can but I was at home without any install CDs and I don’t see the full installer online from a legit source. It’s not a free product.

    Dave2, you mean 7.x down from 7.x or 6.x down from 7.x? Because it’s 7.x that’s a piece of garbage to me. I hate it.

    Yoshi, it drives me BONKERS that if I mouse over any portion of the movie it starts playing it. I just want to grab clips, split at playhead, shove some transitions, text, and music in it, and call it a day.

    BB, expect the unexpected from the Popstar.

    Steph, I feel a little full of chips… and that gum I just chewed has the nastiest aftertaste. Argh!
