An update to the update

Earl is trying to get his girlfriend to hang out with me. She has been working in Queens around the area where I live, so it’d actually work out pretty perfectly to meet up with her!

And my sweetest boyfriend on the planet has agreed to take me to my favorite diner for dinner then to Mom’s house for ice cream tonight, (errrr, um, something is happening) on Thursday, then we will see Burn After Reading over the weekend. YAY! Oh, and Vermont is now scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday! (HLW? PiC? Are you reading? Hi? um. Brother? We’re coming to visit!!!!! Ok, really, we’re coming to take my furniture away. Semantics.)

Today’s agenda: Make sure Dawg gets up an hour earlier than usual, get a Big Gulp, then do a “full” grocery shopping, which consists of purchasing at least 74 items. I cannot tell you how excited I am to go do this shopping. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (This is not sarcasm, I :pinkpuffyheart: to grocery shop.)

Another YAY: The estimated delivery date of my new iMac is TODAY!!! WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!! (But still no internet until Friday except using Dawg’s laptop.)

Ok, I need to go to bed now. Happy Wednesday!!!!!!

  1. I *heart* grocery shopping, too. Especially when it’s someplace huge that has anything or everything I could possibly want – I’m so thrilled we finally got a Wegmans in our area!

  2. She is on LI and in Manhattan for the rest of the week, she thinks. Hopefully next week!

We are definitely seeing Burn After Reading this weekend too! Gia’s sister and brother in-law are the two biggest Coen Bro fans I know.

After me, of course. C’mon, I’ve been growing my hair since December so I can look like the Dude!

  3. There’s nothing better than filling up a BRAND NEW PLACE with BRAND NEW FOOD, is there?!
    Don’t forget the spices! (I always do…)
Happy Wednesday! I am so happy for you guys!

  4. I love to cook, but don’t really consider that a chore. I HATE to clean. Especially despise bathrooms and dishes. Laundry I can tolerate, but don’t particularly enjoy.

Obviously, I need to find a man that doesn’t mind doing my chores for me.

  5. Jan, I adore the new Mac. I’ll send you an email.

Avi, I am pretty sure we’re going tomorrow. I can’t wait!!

Mel, aside from cherries and a pharmacy, that store seems to have EVERYthing I could possibly ever want. They even had my hot and spicy noodles and super firm tofu, oh and my lactose free cheese and lactose free cottage cheese!! HAPPY girl.

ToB, it arrived! I am soooooooo happy!

BEE-bzzt, I’m actually relieved Gia was too busy to see me since I had dates to do things this week. And by dates I mean chore-type things. whee. (Actually, I had a great time doing everything I did.) Hope you both enjoy the movie! We should have Movie Club on Monday where we all discuss what we thought of it.

Empanada, both easy things to love.

Finn, when you’re here we should totally go Amish Market shopping. :grins:

Sybil, I toooootally remembered the spices: salt, pepper, white pepper, red pepper flakes, curry powder, and garlic powder. Those are the essentials. The rest I’ll re-acquire over time.

    Wah, thank you!!!!

Sour, that’s a good tip. I already tried the closest store and had a very bad experience so I’ll only be going there for emergency items from now on. Very rude there.

Hola, anything to do with caring for the kitties… and anything to do with caring for Dawg, for that matter. House cleaning is a lot easier when it’s for someone who appreciates me and my work/efforts.

Mel, if I could have a disposable toilet I totally would. Effing toilet can bite my ass.

Sour, that is because dust is cleaning up human dead skin. And that’s gross. :ill:
