It’s funny how I’m holding back from making plans because I’m waiting for my supervisor to approve my vacation request.
How many times have you let someone else hold you back from doing something with your life that you actually want to do?
I bet we do that at least once a day.

Very true. It makes me crazy to have to plan things around school, but, like work, it’s just what it is.
Yeah, HHH & I know that feeling, like having plans for spending Christmas with family at a great place, but having your vacay rescinded at the last minute. Wow, that sure worked out for them, not us. Jerkwads. I hate that just surviving in this world makes us have to put off things that would enrich our lives and make it better in the long run.

Sucks that you are having to wait…but in this day and age of economic crisis, it makes sense that you are waiting to have approval before making plans. I am doing a lot of waiting these days (not for work) but I know that for me, it is the right thing to do so I am okay with it even if no one else is.
By the way, just wanted you to know that when I view your blog from Firefox, the comment box javascript sets off my antivirus software like crazy and then it doesn’t function even if I ignore it. I am commenting from Chrome right now…
i know, i hate that too. i try not to do it. not having an office job makes it easier.
You can always take a vacation in your mind.
